After a lengthy evaluation process, LCMC Health Urgent Care is proud to announce that we have (once again!) earned Urgent Care Association Accreditation.
UCA accreditation is critically important in that it signifies patients. Steve Sellars, CEO says “This is a huge accomplishment that would not have been possible without a lot of long hours and hard work on the part of our urgent care colleagues. In addition to that, I think it bears pointing out this process, which took months to complete, was conducted amid the stress of an ongoing pandemic. To maintain UCA accreditation, urgent care centers must undergo on-site inspections by a team of independent clinicians every three years. Each operator must demonstrate those centers meet or exceed accreditation requirements which include clinical processes that are consistent with industry standards and best practices.
LCMC Health Urgent Care locations can be found in Kenner, Lakeview, Marrero, Gretna, Covington, and Clearview. All LCMC Health Urgent Care clinics operate Monday-Friday 8 AM-8 PM and Saturday/Sunday 8 AM-5 PM. Licensed providers are available to perform procedures like splinting and suturing, in addition to being equipped with digital x-ray, laboratory services, and an electronic medical records (EMR) system. Occupational Health services are also available for workplace injuries, DOT/Non-DOT Physicals, Blood Analysis, Return-to-Work Exams and Drug testing.
